It’s finally starting to feel like the start of summer!  The weather is coming around, the gym is bumping, and we are wrapping up our spring nutrition challenge!  This week kicks off the countdown to our favorite Hero Workout, “Murph!”

Yes! We are changing things up a bit this year! For the past eight years we have always done Murph on the 4th of July…but after two years of sweltering heat and humidity we decided to join the crowd of CrossFit athletes and celebrate this hero on Memorial Day!

For those who don’t know, the workout called “Murph” celebrates an American hero, Lt. Michael P. Murphy who lost his life in Afghanistan while serving and protecting our country. Yes, this workout looks daunting at first, but we have a number of different scaling and partner options for athletes of any level.

We will have TWO classes on Monday, at 8:30 am and 10 am.  Class is by sign-up ONLY! We will have a white board posted at the gym all week.  After the workout, stick around and celebrate with us!  We’ll host a potluck social to celebrate all the hard work you guys put in every day!

We’ll run a normal schedule all week and weekend, and just the two classes on Memorial Day only.
